Title: Does anyone use vegegreens?
Post by: aidenmc on August 23, 2011, 12:32:25 pm
We are using it in shakes etc., and on the container it says not intended for use by children (we read up that there is just no research on kids' use). But it is so full of good stuff I'd like to make it a regular part of our boys' diet.

Does anyone have any more info on its use with babies/kids?

TIA

I've not heard of it either but I gather it's kind of a natural vitamin supplement?  Personally I'd steer clear. There's no need if you're giving a balanced diet and supplements, natural or not, can make it easier to overdose on some vitamins.  Why not smoothie up sone fruit and veg yourself?

I put it in smoothies with bananas, berries, milk and a little flax oil. Hadn't thought about the possibility of vitamin overdose. I will perhaps start leaving it out.
