do you give your lo yoghurt?

if so, how old when you started, and what kind (brand, plain, w-w/o fruit, no sugar, etc.).

i think we started giving DD yoghurts from about 6 mths onwards. Fromage frais can't remember the make. she loved yoghurts any flavour which is strange as  now as she hates them!!! (must have been yoghurt overload!!!!!!!!!)

Given that DD was a late bloomer when it came to eating solids, and she didn't start showing interest in eating solids until she was around 10 to 11 mos old, I'm pretty sure we introduced dairy products after she turned 1yr old. We give her regular low-fat adult yogurt, with fruit or other flavor (strawberry cheesecake was a hit!). We buy whatever brand is on sale.

7 months..anythign that is not low in fat or with aspartame etc.
i give her blueberry danone and french vanilla..plain is blah for me so I think she would think the same :)

I started my two on yoghurt at 7-8mths. I buy the high fat plain unsweetened acidophilus yoghurt. Neither have minded the sour taste.

I think 7-8 months.  She gets the full fat Yo Baby.  It's the one thing I know she will always eat.    :)

We tried Yo-baby today but DD HATED it! So sad - was hoping it could help us drop her afternoon bottle and thus be only at 2... Will try again tomorrow...

Definitely try again.  Sometimes DS does not like something the first 2-3 times, and then all of the sudden will begin eating it.

Otherwise.....if DD keeps refusing it after a few days...EAT IT YOURSELF.  YO BABY IS SO GOOD! :) :) :)

Oh...the answer to the question, we started DS on yogurt (YO BABY because it is iron fortified) around 9 months when we dropped his afternoon bottle.

DS was ok with the full-fat Brown Cow plain, but LOVES the full-fat Brown Cow Vanilla Yogurt. Good luck.

LOL I know - I already ate the pear one the other day - YUMMY! Will keep trying - really wish she would like it...

man...i think i'm gonna buy the yo baby and brown cow just for myself...lol.... sounds yummy!!;D
i'm hoping it's in the states....i guess just any grocery store?  or is it in a specialty store, like whole foods?

I am also in the States and we have YoBaby in almost all of the neighborhood supermarkets in the regular yogurt section. I've only been able to find the Brown Cow in Safeway in the organic foods section or in our neighborhood health food store.
