Title: Toddler habitual waking - will wake to sleep help?
Post by: hatshetsut on October 02, 2007, 14:21:44 pm
I don't complain much about DD's sleep. She does really well after all the work we put in when she was younger. But lately I have noticed some habitual waking at 10 pm everynight. The other day after we had put her to bed at a friends house and taken her home she did not have the waking.

My question is - Would wake 2 sleep help her in this situation?

Thanks!

H

It is very possible that it would help.  I would try it for three nights and see if that does it.
How does she act when she wakes at 10?

She is crabby and crying. Usually I go in and give her a quick cuddle, and she is back out for the rest of the night. She does also usually wake around 5, but goes back to sleep w/o help then.

Wake to sleep may help. She probably is having a tough time getting through a particular sleep transition.  Try it and let me know.
