Title: HOW MUCH SLEEP SHOULD A 19 MONTH OLD BE HAVING?
Post by: R TULLOCH on November 04, 2007, 20:44:01 pm
My Lo is having some problems settling at bed time and I am at a loss to know why,

sleep routine is  wake 0600 - 0630  nap 12 - 2  bed 7pm

She used to go straight to sleep when we put her down but recently she seems wide awake and gets upset and we have to do put down for up to 30 - 40 mins, is she over tired ? Or is she capable of staying up longer? I dont really want her awake much longer than she already is.

Sorry, no advice!  But did want to say that I went through the exact same thing when Jas was that age..  we persevered and eventually after a couple of weeks things got back to normal!   It sucks!!!!!!!!!!!   Hugs!!   :-*

Our son is 20mo and bedtime is usually round 8pm, he sleeps till about 7-7.30am and naps for about 1 hour 15 mins after lunch.

Sometimes when we put him down at night he'll talk to his lovies for up to an hour!
