Shelby got her first bottom teeth at 3 1/2 months ::)
Now at 8 months shes got 2 bottom and 4 top teeth.
FYI The boys didn't get any teeth until 11 months +
The problem i have is when Shelby latches on, she kills me. I know its all new, and she soon adjusts her latch but for those few seconds it murders, like when we first started and she broke me!!!
Will she 'eventually' know how to latch on toothless or do i need to help her?

Ouch! Yes, she will eventually get better. My dd2 now has about a dozen teeth and she's pretty good at not using them most of the time!
Have you checked out this FAQ?
Biting

Thanks ;D
I did read the bit on biting, missed the bit about changing her latch ::)
She is good when actually feeding its just that beginning bit!!
My mum said i was a biter though, hope she doesn't take after me!

Ouch!!

;D ;D

I feel your pain. ::) We don't get it much anymore. I would suggest silmilar to the FAQ's: take her off & I say "No. We don't bite." or somethings similar.
When it happens at lunch at daycare with ds2 & I can't practically completely end the session if we've just started, I remove him from the nursing position and do something else for a couple of minutes before trying again... walk him around the room, talk to his playmates, anything to break the nursing mentality for a moment. I'm thinking she just doesn't like me :P Her arm thats underneath mine when we're feeding, she uses her hand to scratch at my arm :-\ Ouchy!
