Title: how many eggs are ok

hi i wondered if any one knew how many eggs kids should have a week? i have a 3.5 year old who is mad on eggs and wants them every lunch and he he doesnt have them at lunch he wants them for tea! he also tries to steal his little brothers and ours-he just cant get enough! i dont let him have them every day im on evey other as im worried about colesterol in them. am i being over cautious or even letting him have too much?

LOL at his loving eggs so much! I love them too mmmmm  :P

Apparently, one egg a day is fine. As long as he's eating a varied diet  :)

My DS is the same way about his breakfast egg! The pediatrican told me every other day is fine, but honestly Nick takes a great varied diet and there's no high cholesterol probs in our family. I too think it is a wonderful source of protein, which their growing bodies need!

thanks for that i may let him have eggs 2 days in a row now lol!
that was a really good page to have a look at, not much new to me but im going to pass it onto a friend who fusses a lot!

my doc also said every day is fine if they want it.
