Newbie here, hi everyone : )
DD is 15.5 weeks. From 7 weeks till last week her routine was fairly textbook 3 hour EASY except that she wouldn't take a dreamfeed and fed at 4:30am instead. She was taking 5 oz bottles recently and draining some of them, so roughly 28oz a day.
Lately she was taking less at a time and feeding more frequently so I switched to 4 hourly feeds of 6oz. She took to it brilliantly, draining all her bottles for 2 days, so I upped to 7 and she's still draining most of them. The only problem is the night feed (which can now be as early as 2!) - I was trying to keep that small to phase it out as she's taking during the day what she used to take in 24 hours 3 days ago! But she won't settle and wakes for more around 5:30, then isn't interested in her 7am bottle.
What do I do? Give 7oz at 2am so she's on 7oz more a day? Give 8oz during the day and keep the night feed smaller? Her intake at each feed has increased so suddenly I'm sort of afraid she just doesn't know when to stop!

If the increase is suddenly then it could be she is going through the 4 month growth spurt! You may find that she doesn't want so much after a few days or she may keep up this level.
With the feeds, at her age the nightfeed is perfectly normal! Personally if she is waking around 2 I would give a normal feed as it's a good few hours before her wake up and she should then be hungry when she wakes. If she sleeps til closer to wake up time I would probably then see if she will take a reduced bottle just to tide her over.
The other option is to give a full feed at 4/5am and a top up feed when she wakes to tide her over the first A and S time.
What do you think?

Well, last night she took 3.5 oz at 4, then 6.5 at 7. Perfect : ) Most of the problems have been when DH did the night feed; it turns out he was changing her unnecessarily and waking her right up, then giving her a bigger feed to try and settle her!
Thanks for posting : )

Sounds like the sort of thing my DH does - if only they would follow our instructions ::) ;D
Glad you had a better night!
