Arghhh just as it was going so well, of course something had to happen to spoil it!! LO was sleeping really well, from 7-1 or 2am and then had a feed and slept till 6-7am. So only one night feed and no other wakings. The last couple of night however he has woken around 3.30 with tummy ache and cries until he does a poo! He then is wide awake but overtired. He doesn't want to be fed at least but just seems uncomfortable. How do i fix this!
Thanks

Inconvient BMs are bad news! How old is your LO? If he's still tiny, there's not much you can do about it. If he's established on solids, you can try giving him some slightly more laxative foods in the morning in the hope to bring the BM a bit earlier.

He is 6 1/2 months old and on 3 meals a day. The thing is that he has a big one in the morning and then one in the afternoon as well, so he really shouldn't need it at night too! Hoping it's just a phase...

It IS just a phase... it WILL pass...
Just another thought, you say he has some tummy ache before the BM, maybe 3 meals is a little too much for his tummy at this stage? You could try dropping that meal for a few days and then adding it back in in a couple of weeks time?
