Title: Cookbook Recommendations?
Post by: kplus2 on January 21, 2011, 03:36:59 am
I have a very picky 3 yo  ::) so I am hoping to buy a cookbook that the whole family can eat from but that is orientated to children.

Any suggestions?

Annabel Karmel has some great ones, including ones to help children start cooking themselves.  DS and I have started making stuff since he was 2 or 3 and he finds it really fun - it also promotes his interest in different foods, tasting, smelling, touching.

Also for family meals I found Tana Ramsey's Family Kitchen a great book (she's Gordon Ramsey's wife).  There are some lovely recipes for family meals and snacks in it and it's very clearly written and everthing explained.

Annabel Karmel is absolutely brilliant! My wee boy clears his plates regularly and we the good thing is that the recipes are good for the whole family!
