Title: Night waking
Post by: Wrao on February 21, 2011, 14:21:48 pm
I have a very large baby boy almost 4 months and 20 Pounds. He seems to be a spirited baby.
He wakes twice a nice to feed and eats a full bottle both times.  I am exhauated.  I swaddle him still I don't think he would sleep without it but he just started rolling over so I am scared to keep him swaddled but can't get him calm enough to sleep if he's not.  Help!

Hi, 2 NWs at 4 months isn't bad.  There is a major growth spurt at this time.  Is your LO BF or FF?

As for the swaddle, is he rolling in his sleep or just during A times.

My 19 week baby boy goes to bed at 7pm.  We usually dream feed between 10:30 and 11pm but lately he is waking between 930 and 10.  Not sure if I should do the dream feed then? Or pick up put down then when he's asleep dream feed?  It seems if he wakes before his dream feed he also gets up 2 hours after it.  This has been going on for over a week.  HELP!!!

He is bottle feed and he just rolls during activity time.

If he isn't trying to roll in his crib, you can leave the swaddle.

Have things improved at all?

I am going to try and dream feed right at 10pm and hopefully catch him before he actually wakes up and see if that helps.
