Hi ladies,
This is #2, so I feel like I should remember what this is about...but ha, I don't.
"A" has been sleeping, since birth, like a champ. Lately he's been doing 6 hours, nurses around 1am, and then another 6 hours. Heaven.
Last Sunday something completely changed - and all week he's been up EVERY TWO HOURS. He doesn't seem particularly hungry, though sometimes I nurse him just to get back to bed! (I am a completely exhausted wreck after a week of this.)
Monday he had his 4 month vaccinations and his legs were sore, so we gave him some baby tylenol and he slept 11 hours straight....but then Tuesday right back to being up every 2 hours. Do you think the tylenol helped him with something esle? (teeth this early???)
I'm just wondering - is this a big growth spurt? Is this sort of regression normal at this age? What should I be doing other than riding it out?
Thanks so much.
Melinda

It sounds like his GS Melinda. I would just feed feed and feed some more :) Congrats on your new guy! If he doesn't feed and go back to sleep, then I would do a routine check and other triaging.

Thanks Wendy. Sorry I haven't responded - we have all had strep (minus the baby!) foe the holidays! He got over it - went back to one NW for a few weeks
Just eats and back to sleep - and I was happy about thar. This week he's been having 2-3 and won't go back to sleep without nursing!!! Argh. I'm feeling like death and he wants to nurse all night! Thanks again Wendy!
