My 6 month old DS has been 'Sttn' as in going without food from 7pm until 7am since about 4 months old. I put sttn in quotes as its not sleeping straight through. We goes to sleep awake in his crib with a pacifier. And he stays asleep if the paci falls out during the night. However some nights he wakes a lot at 10, 1, 3 and several times after 430am.
He is usually very good... As he just needs me to give him his pacifier again and he goes right back to sleep. I'm trying not to complain...but it takeas me almost 30min to get back to sleep after these 'stirrs' so I have roughly 8 hours of sleep but its all broken up.... Suggestions? I don't want to take away the soother as it helps with E reflux which I have controlled this far without medicustion.

If he can't fall back to sleep without the paci then you've basically got two options: wean it, or keep replugging him at night until he can do so for himself. It shouldn't be too long before he can do it, especially if you help him to practice when he's awake, and leave plenty of pacis dotted around in his crib so that he can find one when he wakes.

He gets to practice during the day. He knows how to replug... He sleeps with his arms over his head so the paci falls between shoulder and head...in that neck crevasse. I will try putting more in the crib and hope he figures out to put it in soon.
DH doesn't want to wean the paci as we tried once and it was too stressful because it helps the refilz and those bad moments of the day, like fussy between bath and BT bottle or into the car seat. Or for ouches.

I would leave at least 6 in his crib. Or you can get those soft stuffie toys that hold a paci on each limb - so if he can find the toy he can find a paci. Or even a muslin cloth with a bunch of pacis sewn on securely - they'll help him find a paci in the middle of the night. I would introduce a key phrase too, 'Find your paci' (for example), so that you can go to his door and say 'find your paci' and he will know to look for it and replug.
