Hi there,
My LO has always been a good sleeper at night, we recently had a few problems with early morning WU's but resolved that issue...then recently we have had a lot of problems with teeth! LO now has seven in total so it's been a rough few weeks. This week LO has started to wake at 4am and this has been for four nights in a row. We used the wake to sleep method when LO was six months and even though it worked for the first few nights, LO started to wake even earlier for a week or so until he settled back into routine. Can anybody suggest what to do? LO was not crying when he woke this morning but wide awake >:( >:( it took and hour to get him back off.
Do you suggest using wake to sleep or an alternative method? Current routine is:
6 - 6.30 WAKE and play in cot.
6.45 - milk
8.30 - breakfast
9.15 - 9.30 - Sleep for 1 & 1/2 hours approx.
12 - lunch
1.30- 2 - sleep for 1 hour approx
3 - milk
5.30 - dinner
7 - bath, book and milk
7.30 - bed
Thanks
xx

I think your LO may need an A time increase in the AM to balance out the day Those EW/NW sounds like UT, and it looks like you could be in a bit of an UT/OT loop :-\
I would try adding a touch more A in the morning and between naps and keep BT the same so all the A times are closer to 3-3.5hrs
What do you think?

Hey,
Thanks for the advice. I agree, in the morning LO usually goes up to 3.5 hours max but not always, so I'll stretch out the A time for him and see what happens. I think I may be putting him down too soon in the afternoon and that seems to be the problem! Typically after writing this LO went from 7.30pm - 6.30am straight through, maybe that was a fluke? :) ;) ;D
I put him down just over 3.5 hours this morning so will stretch out the afternoon A and will let you know how we get on :)
Thanks x

Good luck, sometime it can be tough stretching them, just do 10-15 min increases every few days if he struggles with the extra time!
