Hi there, I'm back again with my nearly 8mth old who has suddenly started waking at 5am this week. He refused the CN all last week so I've moved him to 2 naps this week and an earlier bedtime. The following morning was great - woke up at 6.45! Since then his wake-up times have been getting earlier and earlier and I'm thinking OT? Here is his day (is teething but is not in any pain, in fact we only noticed he had 2 bottom teeth last week because we saw them!)
A: 5am, up 5.40
E: bottle 6.10 (8oz)
Solids: 7.20
S 8.10-10.10
A
E 10.30 bottle
Solids 11.30
A
S 1.10-1.50
E 2.50 bottle
A
E 4.45 solids
5.30, in the bath, bottle 5.45, asleep 6.00-6.15
We brought his bedtime forward to make up for the lack of CN, and for some reason he won't stay asleep after 2pm! I even put him to bed at 1.20 one day and he woke up at 1.58!
Last night we put him to bed and he woke up at 7 crying, which is very rare for him. He went back to sleep after some Calpol but still woke up at 5 this morning.
Is this just something we have to ride out while he adjusts to 2 naps? Any advice would be appreciated.

An 11hr night isn't actually bad... maybe you could sneak in a CN one day to move BT to 7pm so wakeup is more reasonable for you?
You could maybe extend his second A time by 10 mins or so to see if you can get a longer nap out of him? That one seems like it could be an UT nap.

Thanks for the reply - he ended up having a CN yesterday and woke up at 7.30 this morning! Just when you think you've got them figured out, they throw you a curveball! Thanks for the advice x
