Levi (12 months old) isnt taking much in his bottle and Im confused as to what to do here. he will definately take a bedtime bottle,, but he will only take 70mls. I offer 170mls as thats the only amount to give for his type of dairy free formula. He does teh same thing for the morning bottle, only 70mls, sometimes less. I figured maybe he was wanting to drop to one bottle so I didnt offer the morning bottle for a few days, still he only took the 70mls at bedtime, but then he would wake up early (5am) and want a bottle, if i gave him one then he would still only take 70mls... Im getting a bit frustrated because I cant figure out why hes only taking so little at each feed.
any ideas whats going on here?

It could be teething. Loads of teeth come through at this age so it can become painful to suck.

Yes, teething does that here as well. Or maybe a faster teat?

For sure teeth would be my bet... a touch of numbing gel about 10 mins before that bottle is offered could do the trick...and of course, it might take a few tries as he will associate the bottle with the pain....
