Title: bread intolerence?h
Post by: lu-c-lu on September 17, 2012, 19:25:54 pm
Hi
Just looking for any advice on bread intolerance, I've hopped across from the night waking forum as two days of not having bread has given me a baby who not only put himself to bed but sleeps through, now of course this could be coincidence and i know I will need to re introduce bread to check this out but has anyine had this? Could a intolrence to bread cause night waking, wouldn't't we have some other symptoms (he's so happy during the day, stools are fine etc) he is 11 months old, any advice greatfully received x

Hi, a gluten or wheat intolerance or allergy could cause NWs for sure. Does he have things like pasta that also contain wheat?

Well, I don't think you can intolerant to 'bread' but something in bread?? I know a lot of people do react to bread though so maybe i am wrong :P. Maybe it is the yeast?

Hi
Yes I have been doing some research and come up with yeast too! I'm not sure if there is a simple test for yeast allergy but I will try and introduce bread again and see if he wakes again x
