Hi,
I just started pumping and giving the dream feed in a bottle to my dd who is 5.5 months old and ebf. I was surprised to find she is only drinking about 3.5 ounces as I thought it would be more. Just curious if this an average amount. My ds is on a four hour easy and usually has one feed in the night but since switching to the bottle she has been sleeping much longer - not sure why?
Thank you for your input!

Maybe because it's easier to drink from a bottle it doesn't wake her up as much so she is more settled?
That amount sounds ok for EBM - offer a bit more than you think she will take so she can stop when she has had enough. Babies who take EBM in a bottle do seem to take a smaller amount than they would if it was formula.
HTH!
