So much monkeying around from Audrey. But if I push her bedtime later it bumps into Stans and he is outraged and they both need different things for stories. Do t know how to do concurrent bedtimes for a 3.5yo and a 7.5yo nd don't really want Stan going to bed later as its already 8.30-45 before I get him in bed! But Audrey's not falling asleep until that time anyway. :(

We get anywhere from 10.5-11 hrs around here with my 4yr 1 month old. BT is 730 and he usually falls asleep around 745/8 and is up around 630/645.

are they in the same room?
i'm prob going to jinx myself by my DD is HSN and still takes a long nap and sleeps about 11 hours....TBH she doesn't go to bed until 830/9 these days but it is summer here..school is out and i don't mind bc she will sleep late in the morning (also really hot here so we bike ride/walk in the evening). however, my DH & I tag team it so one of us puts down a kid around the same time but they are in separate rooms.
if they are in separate rooms, i would put stan in bed and have him read by himself while you put down your DD. then i would tuck him in DD is settles. If he is capable of getting himself ready for bed (brushing teeth/PJs etc) he can do that while you are dealign with DD too.

They're in the same room and he's not reading fluently yet at all.

ok so that makes it a bit more complicated. :p
can you do her bedtime routine while he gets himself ready for bed and looks at picture books? (has he read big nate - they read sorta like a comic book) he can be in your room or wherever. how long does it take A to fall asleep? Can you read to him elsewhere and just tuck him in after A is asleep?
PS i really don't like bedtime!

J usually asleep by 6.45, awake around 6/6.15 I think on average x

E is often awake still at 8pm and it is not unheard of for her to still be unsettled in bed around 8.30pm, but then sometimes she can surprise us and want to sleep around 7ish. She does tend to sleep in til abot 7.30ish in the morning though if we don't have to wake her for nursery. I think she's just too OS at the end of the nursery day.
