Hey all... I don't know why I'm having a hard time and I don't have the newest Whisperer book yet- and don't think she addresses this in the one I have...
anyhoo... Noel has always been able to go about 9 hrs. at night. Now, after being out of town for a week (sleeping in our room) and back home with visitors in the house (so again sleeping in our room)- she can't seem to go longer than 7 hrs.
Does this mean it's time to start a dreamfeed? I never did one before b/c it never seemed to help her go longer than the 9 hrs. But here's what's going on- She's pretty much on a 3 to 3.5 hr. EASY (nursing, and she doesn't seem to always want to go 4 hrs.)
Also, she's suddenly waking every 3 hrs. from the 1st night waking instead of sleeping through till morning.
help?

Do you think that maybe since she is in your room you are hearing her too much and she would resettle if you left her? I don't know, just a thought.

She was back in her own room last night, but I have to admit I didn't really let her try to resettle for very long when I heard her on the monitor b/c I was so tired I assumed she'd been crying for a few min. already. I'm going to try a dreamfeed tonight and then try to see if she'll resettle tonight- or at least just use the paci to extend it a little more.
I'll let you know how it goes and maybe go from there?
