Title: i think he is picking his food!

i think my 9.5 month old DS is picking his food! will baby this age starts to have like and dislike of his food?

he doesn't seem to like my cooking. 

i am trying 10 month old baby jar (dish) which he loves and will finish the whole jar quickly.

why does he like the baby jar? really not sure how to cook to that texture and taste ....... pls give me some idea.

Not really sure why he would prefer the jar over the home cooked but it isn't uncommon for babies of this age to start to assert their inedependance and pick and choose what food they like... I would just keep offering a small variety and ride it out...
