Title: Feed every hour during growth spurt normal??
Post by: littlegrasshopper on December 08, 2005, 00:48:27 am
I'm sorry if there are other posts on this. I've just found this board and although I'm doing a lot of reading back... I'm outta time with two under two. I have a six week old that has been nursing every hour the past few days. Is this what happens during the growth spurt? I offer up the second breast in case he's just not getting enough but he doesn't want anymore. Thanks. Holly

That six week growth spurt is usually a big, and a little longer, one. Exactly right to feed more frequently and offer the second if you want. He should get your supply increased soon and hopefully sleep it off for you!
