Title: just starting EASY
Post by: michael's mum on December 20, 2005, 17:51:18 pm
we're just starting 3hr EASY... my son is 12 weeks old... tomorrow will be day 3 of the plan... right now he eats at 6:20ish... 9:30... 1... 4... 7 and a dream feed at 11...

how do I stretch the 6:20 feed to start at 7... I've been trying the last few days by using his pacifier but it's not working...

he actually starts to wake at 4:30 because of my husbands loud alarm (but we're remedying that for the next two weeks at least and it won't be ringing before 7)... I use his pacifier at that time to get him back to sleep... will be moving to pat/shhh and pu/pd as we start tomorrow...

I hope someone sees the question in all this jabbering... thanks
Trish

Why do you have to start at 7? Going from an 11 df to 7 is not doable for most 12 week olds.

Yep you got it. And be flexible. If baby is hungry 1/2 hr early, feed them. Sometimes they can go 3 hrly in the morning when your supply is higher and need to eat 2 hrly in the evening when it is lower. Best of luck, we did EASY early and it was awesome!
