I have a 7 1/2 mo old -
Can I give him broccoli, spinach and corn? He has had all the other vegs in the soup I made tonight and was thinking of freezing some for Caeden but wasn't sure on those vegs.......
Also is a little oregano in there okay for him?
Is is all blended smooth.
Thanks!

Food introduction guidelines vary, but what I've seen is broccoli is okay at 8 mo, spinach at 9-10 mo, and corn at 1 yr (interesting, because a lot of baby foods contain corn). The only reason corn is so late is because it can be difficult to digest, so if you do introduce it earlier, keep an eye out for tummy issues. I think a small amount of oregano is probably okay, but keep in mind that babies have at least as many taste buds as we do, so they generally prefer their food to be on the bland side. HTH!

We have done brocolli and spinach and he loves them both!! Not done corn yet, will probably wait until he can pick the niblets up himself!!!

I think I will give it a try - there is very little corn in it - I just had a little left in a bag in the freezer and threw it in. We will try and little and see how he does later this morning.
Thanks!

I would not worry about it too much either; I gave broccoli and spinach from 4-5 months and corn from six, if you are really worried about it buy it through the sieve to take the 'husks' off but I did not even bother with that.
