Title: Butter
Post by: Hsmum on February 07, 2006, 05:40:38 am
OK, bit of a dumb question but .... I keep reading that toast fingers are good finger foods - is it ok to butter it? Annabel Karmel's recipes sometimes contain butter and I was just wondering if butter is ok...? (my baby is nearly 11 months old and just mastering finger foods!)

I used butter from about eight months, we use anchor butter (in the uk) as it has no addatives in it.

I have been using un-saletd butter rather than normal butter, that way you don't have to worry about all the issues surrounding salt & little kidneys fiding it difficult to process!!

I asked ds's pediatrician about this and he said it was okay.
