My guys like peeled/quartered grapes as finger food but I'm wondering if I'm being a total knob with how I'm going about peeling them. ::) Basically I take one grape at a time and with my fingernails, peel off little strips until each grape is 'naked'. This seems to take forever...should I be blanching the grapes or something to get the peels off? I know that's the trick with peeling peaches...
Thanks!! Sorry for being such a knob.

I do not bother; I am lucky though because if my little one can not chew something she just spits it out. Usually she is OK though. Otherwise mesh feeders are fantastic for things like this.

Sarah, don't worry!! I did exactly the same with DS1. I don't know why. He soon got the hang of eating them. I haven't started L&S on them yet. Will probably do just the same.

Sarah, I did it with a small knife. DH wouldn't do it at all, so he eventually weaned dd1 and gave her skins. I don't know what we'll do wtih dd2, but I am paranoid about choking.
