Ok, I thought Kiersten was having her 3 week growth spurt on Sunday...and on Monday...and every day since! I really don't know if a growth spurt should be lasting this long, I know my other dds' 3 week growth spurts were only like a day...
Kiersten is eating every 1.5-2 hours during the day, sometimes every hour. This is the 5th day of that!
A couple weeks ago I posted about how she was taking about 2.5 ounces within 5-6 minutes, but now I wonder if she's not getting enough? She seems to be taking full feeds, not snacking.
Any thoughts???

I'm not sure how you can know 2.5 oz! Do you have transparent boobs with little lines saying oz? ;)
Seriously though if you're going by a pumping yield she could be taking a lot more. Or are you weighing?
I know growth spurts can last up to 4-5 days. Is it still going on now?
(I read something interesting the other day: I always assumed that the quantity of breastmilk needed was about the same as formula - but in fact because breastmilk is absorbed so efficiently by the body a smaller volume needs to be consumed.)

yeah, she was weighed before and after eating, that's how I found out about the 2.5 ounces.
I'm not sure yet what she's going to do today...yesterday she still did it for the most part. I'm trying to make sure I drink lots of water...hopefully that helps.
