Title: Late feedings..
Post by: melbrad on May 20, 2006, 13:04:02 pm
My child is 4 1/2 months old.  Her schedule is on a 4 EASY.  She eats at 7,11,3,630, 1030, 230.  I was wondering how to help her loose the 230 feed.  She is hungry (she empties both breast).  I try to feed longer at each BF time during the day, but when she is through I can't make her.  I also top her 630 feeding time with 3 ounces of BM I've pumped for that morning to give her a little extra.  I'm thinking she is probably going to do this until she starts solids, but I was curious if other BF moms had any advice.  thanks! ;)

For 4.5 months one waking is really good :) if your LO is taking a full feed then I would suggest you wait. Once she starts not taking a full feed thats when it will be time to drop the feed. In the mean time your doing a great job with your LO  :)
