Title: Medication
Post by: numberonenole on June 29, 2006, 18:23:40 pm
I am having trouble finding a website specifically for over the counter medications ok to use when breastfeeding. I have developed athlete's foot and need to know what I can do to get rid of it! Please help! Thanks!

Take a peek at the FAQ section

https://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?board=83.0

I believe there is a post about medications there.

I looked at the FAQ before I posted and I have continued to look but I still can't find anything specifically about athlete's foot. I can't figure out how to search on one of the websites though. Anyone have any ideas about whether Tinactin or other medications are ok to use? My searches through Google have not helped me either...and a lot of times they will say different things anyway. Here it is sandal season (and I live in Florida) and I have to wear socks all the time! But things could always be worse.

http://www.Kellymom.com has a listing of meds but pretty much any topical is OK until you start with some retinoid acne medications. OTC antifungals are OK.
