My 8 week old sleeps 5-6 hours a night, however, she goes down at 8:00. I would love to give her a df at 10 so that she sleeps that 5 hours starting at 10, when I go to bed. However, everytime I try I wake her up. She is then overstimulated and will not go back down. I do give her the occasional bottles with breastmilk, but do I give it to her lying down? I tried once and it have her too much gas, so she was again awake - any ideas? How do you df while breastfeeding?

Here is a link about df while bf.

When giving the df you try very hard not to wake her. What time is her last feed? You may find you have to wait a bit longer than 10 to try the df. Take a peek at the link and post back if you have further questions.
If you were to give the bottle you can either still take her out of the crib, or get your arm under her neck and prop her up. Feeding her laying down can cause ear infections.
