My DS is currently not very well. He has a double ear infection and throat infection :'(
Anyway, cause he is not well he is not eating very much at all. So because he has not eaten very much I have given him a bottle of follow on formula at bed time to try and fill his tummy up.
Have I taken 2 steps backwards cause he has already made the switch to cows milk?
Thanks for your opinions.

I think that is completley fine! My DD was on both formula and cow's milk for a few months until she got used to cow's milk. Anything goes when they are sick. Hope he feels better soon.

Thank you both for your replies.
You are right, when they are sick- getting them to take anything is a mission.
Poor baby, he has wanted food and juice, but everytime he swallowed he screamed. He drank his formula - I think it might be because it is warm.
I just hope that the antibiotics kick in soon.

Thomas is feeling much better today - We did have another trip back to the doctors, and he was diagnosed with Tonsillitis - poor baby.
Today I gave him cows milk again, and he did not even notice the difference. I must admit, the formula was a godsend while he was not eating.
Thanks for your replies ;D
