Hi everyone!
My ds just turned one and I've been trying for about 2 months to transition him to cold formula (from the fridge in preparation for feeding cow's milk). The best I can get from him is to drink the formula at room temperature. anything with a slight chill, he takes one sip and spits it out.
Now that he's a year, we're on cow's milk, which I still need to heat a bit.
Anyway, is it common for babies to still "request" warmed milk? he'll drink cold water in small amounts from a sippy (we're still practicing though), but won't take cold milk in any form. Can anyone help me out here? I don't want to have a teenager on my hands who is still making mommy heat up his milk ::)
As always, thanks for your help!!

Not really got any advice for you, my DD is 20 months, and if i offer her cold milk, she hands it back and says 'orm?' (her word for 'warm!)
She has it in a cup, and i just microwave it for 30 seconds. I'm slowly just reducing the length of time i micorwave for by a few seconds so hopefully soon she'll take it cold.
Sorry couldn't be more help!

You know, it never actually occured to me to warm up the cows milk. We're still on formula. Might give it a go later
