Hi! My daughter started daycare last month at 10 months, and has not taken a sippy or bottle of EBM or formula... Before starting daycare she was taking 4 BF feeds a day, but when she started daycare, I obviously had to cut one but tried replacing with EBM, and when she wouldn't take that, I tried formula - wouldn't take it either... we tried all sorts of cups, bottles, etc.... she only likes the boob!
Anyways, for a while I have been putting the EBM in her cereal and she has been taking it but I am only pumping 2 oz and it really takes a lot of time out of my job (I am a teacher and only have 30 minutes for lunch so I am always crunched for time). So, I was wondering, at 11 months, is it ok for her to do withouth that feeding? I BF her at 6:30am, 4pm, then again at 7pm. On the weekends I do give her that 11am feed I used to, but can she get away with just 3 BF feeds at this age without extra EBM for formula? I am not sure how many ounces she takes but her morning and bedtime feeds are about 15 to 20 minutes, and the 4pm is about 10 minutes...
Thanks

As far as I'm aware it's fine for lo's to drop down to 3 feeds from about 10months. So long as they are happy and healthy 3 feeds is fine. Maybe you could replace the feed with yoghurt or some cheese. Congratulations for breastfeeding for 11months - I hope I make it to that stage.
