Title: three weeks and already on easy?
Post by: carybear on November 02, 2006, 05:15:24 am
My DD seems to have already put herself on EASY!  I'm surprised but I noticed the pattern right after my milk came in.  she'll go 3 hours during the day and then 4 at night between feedings! how great is that?  Plus she's put on a full pound in one week!
Anybody else's baby do this? and how long did it last?  I'm afraid she'll change her mind about this schedule...:)

Congrats on your new baby.

Theo didn't put himself on EASY, we really had to work at it as he was and still is a feeding machine, he would eat non stop if i let him.
As for how long it will last, well....so long as you keep up what you are doing now, then i am sure you shouldn't have too many problems.

Well done.

Sounds like you and baby are doing great!  If you stay consistent then your lo should stay with the routine!

Good luck! :)

my son also did the 3hr feeds from the start, unfortunatley it was the naps that were always tricky! good job and good luck!

My first did with no problem. All I did was wake him every 3 hrs for feeds from birth, and he got into the routine easily but did become a short napper. This kiddo is a different story, though...2.5 wks and still pretty inconsistent. It does happen though...lucky you!
