My baby woke up this morning at 8 AM, all happy and smiling. An hour later, she starts yawning and rubbing her eyes. Seems like a short A time to me... ??? She went back to sleep very easily at 9 AM. Is it really a nap or is should I consider this like an extension to her night?
She's 2.5 months old.
TIA!

Sounds like a nap to me (beginner at all this BW). A shouldnt be too long at that age.

I would call it a nap. Sometimes babies have shorter awake times in the mornings than they do the rest of the day.

Hi there,
Babies tend to get sleepy earlier in the morning, but be weary of putting her down to early or that nap ebcomes an extension of her nighttime sleep and can throw her whole routine off. ;)

hi Michele. I agree with everybody else above ;D
don't worry she's having only 1 hour of A time, she's still very young. and sounds very much like my dd that age. her A times have gone longer whaen she finished 3 months or so. so don't worry, you're getting to it!
and if she gets up at 8 and starts yawning at 9 you still have some 10-15 minutes to put her down actually, so her A time would be 1:15 hrs.
how are the rest of the naps? and A times?
