Henry was born at 7lbs, 11oz. When we were discharged from the hospital, he was 7lbs, 2oz. At two weeks, he was 7lbs, 5oz and the doctor threatened to call social services on us if he didn't gain weight and/or I didn't supplement with formula. I never did supplement with formula but Henry did start gaining weight and we never looked back.
I was so afraid that the same thing would happen with Lily.
When she was born, she weighed 8lbs, 4oz. At discharge, she was 7lbs, 11oz. I took her in for her new baby exam today. At 5 days old, she is back up to 8lbs, 3oz!!!!!
I'm so excited I can almost cry!! I did it!!! WOOOOO-HOOOOO!! ;D ;D ;D
