Hey all,
I know that all babies are different, but I just wondered, if anyone else's baby only feeds for about 10 mins per feed. My DD is nearly 5 months old and she only feeds for 10 mins. If I try to give her more, she twists her body and pulls away, so I stop trying. She can go 4 hours between feeds but still feeds once in the night. I know that some babies are more efficient eaters, but 10 minutes doesn't seem very long. She also is quite small for her age so I worry that she isn't putting on that much weight. Just wondered if anyone else had similar experiences???

My lo has done only 10 minutes pretty much from the get go. Sounds like it has been a natural progression to more efficient feeding.

Only 10 minutes at 5 months is actually pretty common. It sounds like she's telling you she's done.

Sounds great to me! With this lo, I never fed more than 30 min total, even when she was a newborn!

10 minutes was long for my dd1! One night feed at 5 months is great.
Sounds like you are doing a great job!
