Title: Delete account - Don't panic, she's not leaving

Hi there,

How do you delete your account? I can't see a Delete Account link anywhere.

Just out of curiosity, nothing personal or serious!

oh good!  I thought you were just going to up and delete your account while moderating!!!!! ;)  I've wondered too, thanks for asking!

When you go into your profile.  To the left it has all the different options.  The last one says "delete this account"

LOL, sorry. I am unfortunately too addicted, and I will miss my reflux comrades-in-arms WAY too much!

After the spate of people leaving and seeing accounts in black saying Gueest, I just tried to see where and my account actually does not have that. Hence the question. :) I still can't see it. It isn't on the left meny part. :-\

Nicola, why are you awake at 4:36? :)

DI - open your profile.

At the left hand side there's a box with loads of links in (account settings, forum profile info etc)

At the very bottom under the "Actions" header is the option "delete this account".

If it's not..... maybe admin have knobbled your account so you can't ever leave!!! Like Hotel California, but without the 70s soft rock band ;)

The silly things I wonder about when I am supposed to be studying, you see. Like rearranging furniture and decluttering your cupboards... I am weird.

You just click PROFILE and you'll see this on the left hand side:

Profile Info
Summary
Show Stats
Show Posts
Show Topics

Modify Profile
Account Related Settings
Forum Profile Information
Look and Layout Preferences
Notifications and Email
Personal Message Options
Edit Buddies

Actions
Delete this account  <--- here

I think though if you have a few screen names, you may have to use the name you made the account with, to delete the account.  I am not sure. Hope that helps,  Good luck!
