Title: Problems with PMs - Take 2 - different problem
Post by: clh on April 20, 2008, 20:27:14 pm
I can't see my pm's at all, with either IE or firefox.  I click on "my messages" but there is only a white screen that comes up.  That also happened when I had a new one & clicked yes to view in a new window.  The new window was blank/white.  Any ideas?  TIA.

Anyone?  Really, I get messages that I have PMs, but when I opent the window to read them, the page is completely blank.  I can see my outbox, but not the inbox.  Help!

It may help if you clear out your cookies and cache/temporary internet files on both browsers, and then close the browsers for a few seconds before re-opening them.  If you've got a corrupt cache your browser will continually attempt to open the same page from memory.  If you still get the same problem then once you've loaded the blank page try pressing F5 to force a refresh.

Still no-go.  My computer was even switched out at work, and I still get the completely blank window.  I'm sure that the mass pm is still in there, but I can't get to it to delete it.  Any other thoughts?

There's only two ways I can attempt to fix this for you.  The first way is that I log in as you and delete the pm from my end, this will mean 2 password changes.  There would be a large amount of trust needed on your part.  The second option involves making temporary adjustments to your account that should result in the deletion of all your personal messages, this would be a permanent deletion and all messages will be lost.

Just let me know if you wish to attempt either of these methods :)

Lots to think about...  I'll be back.
