Well Tyler has reacted to so many solids. He got this huge, red, hot rash on his face from oatmeal (I believe). He turns into the devil when he eats apples.
The only foods that we have found that he seems like himself with are Squash, Peaches, & Rice cereal.
He also has KP (Keratosis Pilaris), so the Ped felt it was a good idea to have him tested.
Well everything was negative :) Milk, soy, peanuts, bananna, sweet and white potatoes, oats, wheat, mites, dog, and a few more. It was 15 total.
He did say that of course it could be a digestive intolerance, but as far as an actual allergy, we are good to go.
So, he has been on Alimentum for a while now and it really is breaking us. So he said he felt he would fine with a regular formula and whatever to eat.
So we are going to take it slow, but at least now I know I can feed him something other than rice and peaches.
He is a huge eater, so a variety will be nice. He is having 32 oz. of formula a day and 4 meals.
Though I would share because I know a lot of you are familiar with what we went through in the first 3/4 months with him.

Big sigh of relief on your behalf!!!!! Now you know that much at least! :)

Great news Wendy! ;D
I hear you on the Alimentum. Charlie has been on it since I stopped nursing at 3 months and we need to use it until he's two. :-\ The cheapest I have found it is for $20.99 a can at our local grocery store.

Yeah that is cheap Alison. We use the RTF, so it is $9.00 a thing and last us 1 day. It is $250.00 a month.
Who knows we may have to go right back to it though. I am going to do a very slow transition.

Wendy, that is great news. I hope the transition to regular formula goes well.
