I was shopping for some rice cerial to introduce to my MPI DS and notices that all of them have skim milk powder in them. Is there a special cereal I am suppost to buy??

The Beachnut rice cereal and oat cereal do not.

thanks I will look for that brand. Were I was there was only Heins and Nestly.

Also try looking in the Organic Section of your grocery store. That's the cereal I used. I'm in Canada and I shop at the Superstore. They have an Organic brand of food, and baby food, and that's where I found their baby cereal without soy/milk.

I too use an organic rice cereal that I bought at a health food store here. The brand name is "Healthy Times" and they make milk free, soy free infant cereals, teething biscuits, and baby food. Milk free cereals are out there, but you have to do some searching :)
Good luck!

thanks everyone this helps me out alot. This milk allergy is not as overwhelming as I though.

I've found that Heinz has a rice cereal and a mixed grains cereal that has no milk in it.
I basically label read whenever I'm buying cereal as I've had the "recipies" change in the brands I buy from Safeway (Canada) and been caught out. ::)

We used Organix and it's plain ground rice, nothing added! I'm in the UK

I bought the Earth's Best rice cereal for DS for that very reason. I found it at Safeway and Walmart (in the US)
