Title: can't open my own post to see replies!! :( help!
Post by: mommyET on February 01, 2010, 20:42:18 pm
When I try to open my post ("Is it really worth...") the whole site shuts down on me! :( I've been having this problem opening certain other posts (and posted the problem in the "glitches" the other week) but haven't had this problem yet with one of my OWN posts...until now.  Is there anything I can do???  I would really like to be able to read the replies!!! :(

First of all, clear your cookies and cache/temporary internet files.  Instructions for doing this in Internet Explorer can be found on the following link: Clear Your Browser's Cache @ wikiHow

Once you've done that, enter the Babywhisperer forum using the following link:

If you are still getting the problem please reply (or make new post if necessary) and give a full explanation of the issue; for example, when the site shuts down does your browser close too?  Or, do you get redirected to blank page?

Thank you!!  I had been using Mozilla Firefox so I just tried using Internet Explorer and it worked! It still won't work when I use Mozilla though.  Should I follow the same directions you linked for trying to fix Mozilla or is that only for Internet Explorer?  Thank you!!

Yes, try following the instructions for Firefox to see if it works.  It may be that your Firefox cache has corrupted and could do with a clean out.  Also, make sure you are using the latest version of Firefox, to discover this click Help > Check for Updates.  The latest version is currently 3.6.
