My 9.5 month old has been fightin his naps the pass few days. I still was able to get them in until today. He was not cranky just looked tired but would not give in. Finally at 3:30 I drove him around for a half hour and when I got home was able to keep in car seat in his room. At 5 I went in to wake him. He was so upset, but I was able to put pjs on and feed a bottle and he is now in crib no problem. Lately his BT has been 4:30! I was trying to keep him up I thought he was fine but that of course led to NW. Now besides fightin naps last few days, all is well. Should I have handled today diffrent? Just incase here is his routine lately.
Wakes-6am, plays in crib
E-7am bottle 8oz
A-7:15-9:30 plus solids
S-1-1.5
E-11am 6oz bottle
A- 11:15-2ish plus solids
S-1hr
E-3pm 6oz bottle
A- 3:30 solids dinner, bath, story, then offer bottle but refuses
S-Put in crib 4:40pm

Sometimes when my LO is really fighting naps, I drive him around to get him to sleep, even if it's just for a little while. As long as it's not too often, it shouldn't become an issue.
Does he sleep straight through from 4:40 - 6am?

Yes he does sleep thru! Its so crazy. I guess I just wished I drove him to nap sooner. But he had a great night that day - slept thru. Yesterday we had perfect naps, and he stayed up till 5:30.

Wow! Perfect naps AND sleeping 5:30-6! Sounds like a great day :)
