Lo started day 3 of oats, Heinz Organic oatmeal. She's started to have runnier stool, much lighter (she didn't eat enough to change the color) and loud gas. She's got bumpy skin on temples and in front of ears on face. She's sleeping less for naps, waking and not wanting to be on belly (she's a belly sleeper since 2 months). She's otherwise happy.
Her stool is usually pretty dark very sticky clay color. This clay like stool is hard to rub off her bum. There are flecks of lighter, cottage cheese like yellow bits (sorry TMI). I was on an ellimination diet (MPI suspected)when BF. I also avoided all the major culprits for gas and reflux. She's been FF since 4 months. She also has the constant runny nose, clear and some cough when she drinks.
I've been wondering for a while if she is intollerant to the formula (Nestle Good Start, Omega 3-6 and probiotics). Now with the oats introduced, I am pretty confused.

Hmm, well if it is the oats then it could be the gluten though there is some controversy over this at the moment.
I would suggest that you stop it for a few days and see if you get any improvement. If you do then I would reintroduce and see what happens.

MY LO can only tolerate small amounts of oats. But no baby cereal for us. Her GI confirmed this and suggested we not introduce grains around a year. Rice would be okay, but it's too constipating for my kiddos.

Yes, we started with oats for that reason.
stop it for a few days and see if you get any improvement
that's the plan for the oats, but can't do that with the formula....

it could be the gluten like already said, i dont know about in canada but i know in the uk there is only two brands of oats which are certified gluten free (scotts oats and i cant remeber the other one, the dietion told me about them and told me to ONLY use them)
