Title: MSPI and A&P Teething Powder. Have you tried it?
Post by: lesliemarie on June 17, 2011, 17:48:32 pm
I want to order some teething powder for DD but it says that it is in a lactose base.  DD is MSPI though and I'm wondering if the lactose would bother her.  I know it is the protein that is supposed to be the problem but I'm just not sure what to do.  Has anyone out there tried it?

I'm actually researching more and I think that I can get something here that is similar.  Actually I have it and have given it and it has done nothing  :-\  I just wish I could find something to help this poor girl.

DS2 is MSPI and is fine on teething powders with lactose (i've used nelson's teething powder or the boots own brand one). lactose is the milk sugar so in theory they 'should' be fine on it if MSPI. i just treated it like a food challenge and did no other new foods for 3 days whilst trialling it.
