My ds just turned one and I am in need of some snack ideas for him. Soft, finger foods. :) He eats a ton of fruit and veg at every meal, along with protein. I know fruit is good for a snack, but I wanted some other ideas since he eats it with most meals during the day.

We do cubes of cheese, rice cakes, fruit, soft salad veg like cucumber, tomatoes and peppers, toast, crumpets and yogurts. Not all in one go obviously! lol

Oatcake and breadsticks are also a good option. My DS love them, especially oatcakes.

Cheese is often an option here. How about some cheese scones? They freeze well too:

Or some spinach and feta muffins:

Otherwise we often use fruit and dried fruit. Around 12 months I got panicky about soft poos because he was having too much fruit and now he's got picky on it! I think one thing that's guaranteed is they will decide they don't like something that they loved yesterday!
I've never got him to accept them but there's also the options of rice cakes and breadsticks, maybe dry cereal?

One of my colleagues (I work in a bakery) made some cheese straws which were a bit like softer breadsticks (as they were made with bread dough rather than pastry). They were kind of addictive for me and I'm going to try my little pumpkin on them tomorrow.

DS loves to snack on gold fish crackers, teddy grahams, and crispy minis.

my daughter definitely loves her fruit but also eats a lot of gerber made snacks, baby mum-mums rice husks, cheerios (multi grain is a good choice, more flavor than plain cheerios), LOVES earthsbest cereal bars (much like a nutrigrain bar) probably her favorite snack out there.
