Title: messy potties. maybe I should have started with cereal?
Post by: CCCmom27 on October 02, 2011, 16:39:07 pm
I started DS2 on sweet potato a week ago.  Took a break for a few days for teething (still hasn't come through  ??? ) and tried banana yesterday.  Since he had the banana (only 1x) his potties have gone up his back twice.  This is very uncommon for him.  Does this mean the solids aren't sitting well?  I didn't start with rice cereal bc it constipated DS1 horribly but maybe I should give it to DS2 to calm things down?  He's also still spitting quite a bit out and only swallowing a little at a time.  Should I introduce cereal or persist with the fruits & veggies?

I would just leave banana out for a while and try something else!

Poos can get explosive for all kinds of reasons but banana is normally something to slow digestion not speed it up.  No harm in trying something else but it's probably unrelated.
