Title: 1st bottle of the day
Post by: clairew11 on November 16, 2012, 09:15:45 am
Ds2 is nearly 7 weeks old and is taking 6-7oz every 3 hours! Most days go ok, some a little off! He has his last feed at 6.30 and is in bed asleep by an hour later, he is then sleeping until 4ish where he will have between 3-4oz and go back down! I have been having to wake him around half 7 however he then won't take much milk at all! Am I better off just leaving him to wake on his own, only problem is it throws our day out then? X

At this age, I would let him sleep.  He really is still quite young to be waking him for the day...

I have never woken to feed ;)  When they are this wee, I am a big fan of letting them sleep a touch longer if they need it... if they are hungry, they do wake up ;)
