Title: Teaching toddler independent play?
Post by: NikNik on January 09, 2013, 09:06:12 am
My DD is 2 y.o. and is very smart and creative and loves imaginative play. However, she will almost never play by herself. I feel that this is partly just her personality and partly not having to do much of it up to now as it was either me or her grandmother with her all day. However, now that I have a new baby (11 weeks) it has struck me how little time she actually will spend playing by herself. Any tips for encouraging her to be more independent?
