Title: how much?
Post by: *happy* on January 12, 2013, 20:10:20 pm
i know i read it somewhere, but just wondering how much formula/milk LOs should have once they hit 1YO?
also, it;s recommended to swap to cow's milk at 1YO,right?!
sorry for such basic questions, but my head is just all over the place right now. ::) ::) ::)xxx

You can start to transition to cow's milk at a year and the idea is that it is  now a drink, not a food as it has been :)

I believe the recs in the UK are 12 ozs per day to meet needs (this is total dairy).

I would just keep her AM and BT bottle for now.. then offer some in a sippy with her lunch and with her PM snack/dinner.  That way, if she doesn't take anything during the day, she's covered with the two bottles left :)
