Title: Maybe things aren't so good...
Post by: *Kara* on January 15, 2013, 22:57:54 pm
DD is working on her 2 yr molars (all cut but they are still moving in)...

We are starting to have mid-nap faffing/cries... had a short nap that she woke screaming from yesterday (I have to wake her 99% of the time)... random night wake up a few nights ago... and a fiasco and a half at bedtime last night...

Nothing even close to what we had when she was trialing standard cow's milk, but it does seem to be escalating...

Do I push through a bit longer in hopes it just an adjustment to new proteins or should I stop now and see if it all goes away over the next few days???

Thanks Elise.. I gave her just formula at bedtime tonight.. she woke crying/screaming about 30 mins after she fell asleep.. makes me wonder if she has some OT building from the disrupted sleep which could be teething driven... she hasn't gotten me up with teething since her fourth tooth so I never really know until it gets quite bad :(  My poor bug... I had given her Advil an hour before bed too..

Yup - this is on lactose free :(  It could well be teething related... she doesn't have reflux, but always has gotten a bit heartburny when her teeth are really bad and she just woke up with that tell-tale rash on her chin from chewing her fingers at night :(
